Rhythm of Photography

RHYTHM: (noun) a strong, regular, repeated pattern of movement or sound.

A cohesive and lovely wedding is a ballet of movement and forethought. Caterers enter stage right, they weave throughout a crowd.  The father of the bride emerges center stage to deliver a toast. The groomsmen find their seats as caterers exit stage left - all the while the humble photographer captures it all.

The rhythm of this production is often represented by the music of the event. It comes in many forms and styles - from a DJ emphatically blasting "Thriller" to a jazz trio letting the energy of the day carry them to smooth and rapid beats. The music comes through each photograph, allowing all who were present (or even those who could not be) to be brought back to these special moments - a legacy documented through image and sound.

Photographer, exit stage right.
