Kristen and Michael's wedding day started out slowly at Hemlock Farms nestled in the Delaware State Forest of Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. The Lords Valley Country Club was ablaze with activity while the planners perfected the tent reception setting as well as the Hemlock Lake ceremony area. I was surprised to learn that you don't need to be a member to have your wedding reception at this country club. The food was spectacular and presented in a buffet style in surprising quantities and variety. The billowing sky presented the wedding couple with a magnificent study of forms and dramatic backdrops. Wedding photography under these conditions feels like skiing a freshly powdered trail! A powerful rain arrived just as the reception began forcing everyone into the intimate setting inside the tent serenaded by the sound of rain all evening.
