Kristal and Andrew rolled up to St. Peter and Paul Church in Simpson, PA after getting prepared for the day at the Best Western in Carbondale, PA (my father was born in that town 78 years ago.) It was a hot sunny day and we waited in the church foyer as the Ukranian choir led by Pat Marchinko made their way to the church from the other Ukranian church in Scranton. There was a mix up on the assumed location. This allowed for great images before the ceremony which was vibrant with song. It might be the only wedding where I've ever photographed a family portrait in the midst of the ceremony when prompted to do so!

The rest of the wedding day was staged at the Elkview Country Club on Crystal Lake where they run the venue with the precision of a German train schedule. Everything is to the minute. The wedding party arrived and we made a bunch of fun images of everyone in the harsh light. Suddenly we had a few minutes of rain. Where was that rainbow? These guys used up that card during their engagement photos last fall.

A Star Wars themed entrance set up the evening and the festivities began to unfold. Here are the photographs.
