Wysocki-Bartoli Marriage and Wedding in Laflin PA and at The Woodlands Inn
Angela and Jared picked the nicest day of the year so far to get married. Everyone in the bridal party gathered in the heart of Laflin,PA to prepare for the ceremony at Saint Maria Goretti church nearby. Her home is situated on land that Angela’s grandfather owned from back in the coal era. The bride’s house was filled with brightly lit rooms as everyone mingled and prepared for the noon ceremony. Angela was transported to her church in a Rolls Royce Ghost, the one with the umbrellas hidden in the door.
A receiving line greeted all the friends and family in the bright foyer outside the church as everyone was given bubbles to wish well upon the new bride and groom. Everyone dispersed as the wedding couple was whisked out to Penn State’s bucolic Lehman campus.
This charming location was drenched in bright sun as we gathered to make images of the whole wedding party. Drones flew above and the cast from Beauty and the Beast appeared from a nearby fundraising activity. After creating beautiful portraits and documenting a scene that could have been a painting in another century, we headed across the valley to the Woodlands Inn for cocktails and dancing to celebrate the marriage of Angela and Jared. DJ Marquis waited to twist the night away in tandem with the band UUU. The room was bursting with energy after an opulently catered cocktail hour on the outdoor deck next to the Laurel Run stream. John Mackey produced a tremendous floral design for the room. A lighted dance floor and lounge seating areas by MCR along with accent lighting, set the mood for an unforgettable evening.
