Saturday my friends Paul and Katushka took my old 72 Mercedes for a much needed drive into the driveable back-country from Santa Barbara to Figueroa Mountain. We had set out to see the poppies and lupen if they were out.(they barely were) We meandered our way onto Happy Canyon Road where I’ve photographed pro bike teams including Lance Armstrong and the Chevrolet teams over the years. The car performed flawlessly for it’s condition and we created a few images along the way.
